Because Crunchy and GrammaSkittles are NOT going to let me live it down, and it'll get talked about eventually and people will be like "what?" So here goes.

My WONDERFUL darling b/f left the lights on the car the other morning. He gets home at 7am, and I don't usually leave until 12...but that day I wasn't leaving until 2. So that's 7 hours that it sat there and drained the battery. UGH. So I went to start it...dead as a doornail. Called a tow truck to come jump it...of course there are NO freaking neighbors home. Tow guy connects the thing for like... a minute and a half then leaves. Says to keep it running for 10 minutes, then I can drive it. I'm impatient BECAUSE I'M 23. (That's Liz's excuse for me) So I left...I made it to the end of the block and had to wait about 20 minutes before it had enough juice to drive. GAAHHH

Made it to work and back - about 40 miles total, with the battery light on the whooollleee way. I tell hunny to keep an eye on it on his way to work that night. He makes it a whopping 4 miles down the road and it dies again. Call the tow truck AGAIN. Have him take it to walmart (4-6 stores away from where it died...haha) Only problem is, *I* have the alarm key. We don't use the alarm because..well it sucks really. But when you put a new battery in, it ALWAYS goes off. So I throw on some clothes and start walking. 45 minutes later I make it to walmart and actually BEAT the tow-truck there. Tow guy drops the car off, we haul the battery out and go to exchange it (still under warranty) have to argue with the lady at the counter about it because it's midnight she's old, and walmart sucks. 12:20 get the new battery in, and hunny takes me home.

I
AM
SO
SORE.

I walked 3 miles. At 11pm at night. In the dark. You are right...you are not going to live this down.  I can't believe you walked at NIGHT with a sore KNEE!!!  Go sit in the naughty chair right now!!

That sounds exactly like something I would do. Seriously, I
have no patience at all, so I will not harass you about it. I will
take your mistake and hopefully learn from it (most likely I will
do the exact same thing).
I can't give u too much grieve because I am the QUEEN of impatience.  seriously, knucklehead (I mean that with the utmost respect =)), don't pull that again!!!!
Glad u r o.k.
Lori

Forget the 3mile walk in the cold night air...you are asking for trouble missy...and I know you aint packin heat....call a cab at least next time or one of is gonna put you in shackles and chains for sure!

Hey hey hey now. There's like...no crime here. I had my keys with me. LOL I could have...umm...unlocked someone....yeah...

I didn't have money for a cab. *sigh* waiting for that paycheck tonight! BLEH!

I bet you do the thing I do with my keys....hold the big one out
