      what kind   do you  have?

I    used  to have  a   contract  phone  but   did the  math  and     survive   just  fine  on    a  prepaid  phone  ....

the  money I  would  spend  each month  for  a   contract  I  can just put  on  the  phone....

I  have  a   phone  that  does     ringtones   pics  email  all  that    stuff  I  probably  do not  need...

I have a contract with Cingular. We have two picture phones and a TON of minutes, that rollover (which comes in handy when things like hurriacnes hit) and for both lines + insurance its a month. I think it's a pretty good deal. I can be ANYWHERE and call ANYWHERE. You just never know what life's gonna throw at you.Hubby and I travel, and he travels for the Air Force quite
frequently, so we need a nationwide plan. We got added to his
parents Cingular family plan. We have plenty of minutes, and
it's much cheaper than getting our own. It's only /month for
the two of us! I was paying just for mine with Verizon.Cingular wireless. I will spare you the details of the argument I had with them for more than a year because I moved and they would not change my number. Long story short, I ended up with a new camera phone ( daughter likes it) and 3 full months of free service because they screwed me over so bad. I have the minimal plan, doubt if I sign again. We remained with Cingular because her dad has cingular ( he is in Indianapolis, we are in Michigan) and she can call him anytime and it is free....she rarely if ever calls but legally I have to provide communications by allowing her to contact him at any time she wants to.You know, as much as Cingular gives me grief.....they've remained the best plan out there for us. My family lives on the other side of the country, as does his, so it's important that we be able to call them any time. I forgot, our plan also includes wireless email and AIM. Pretty sweet. Hehe
