Leaving for Rehab | Arthritis Information

Hey hey,

I had my physical therapy eval yesterday and yes they said i qualify for inpatient. Now im just waiting for my doc to get back from vacation so he can admit me sometime next week. Im excited yet scared. I know this is going to be really hard. But im determined. I will not leave til I can walk out of there, and get in a car and go. Where as right now i'm in a wheelchair and need a medicar. *sigh* Ive been waiting for this for a long time, and its finally happening. Im getting my life back little by little. hehe its so weird, but awesome. you all have helped me a great deal, probably more than u know. thanks so much. *hugs you all* Wish me luck!!!

Congratulations! I'm happy to hear that you are on your way to good health!!!! What is inpatient rehab? Do you go to a special rehab facility? For how long? But my hips are rubbed to a nub. So could picture being you easy. I just got approved for Humira shots and hoping and praying they will make a huge difference in my hardly existing life. I did not see what kind of surgery you were having but I am pretty sure it is for Ra. I just wish you all the luck and super fast healing. I will keep you in my prayers always. It's just the regular physical therapy section of my local hospital. Every major hospital that I know has them. Usually patients that have had joint replacements or things of that kind get admitted there. Since I have been so immobile so many years I think its the best way to get back on track :) Thanks so much Juliahh! I hope you are doing well hun.

Thank you Franny. I started Enbrel not too long ago and im feeling better by the day. I will definitely be back to let everyone know about my experience. hehe thanks again *hugs*

I hope you will be able to walk out of there on your own 2 feet. You never know what an awesome thing walking is until you can't do it anymore. Good luck to you.
