OMG Hilloney, What a riot When life hands you lemons....!oh how brilliant is that? I used to work for a funeral home, the drivers would have loved that.LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hahaha I even showed Justin, he loves it too!!!!! I don't think the boys are finished with her yet.  There's talk of moving lights around the wheels, a wreath, etc.  Very festive, don't you think?

Life is fun!  We are having a huge engagement party for my daughter on Dec. 23rd.  I can't wait to see the reaction of our guests!

Did you put a skeleton Santa as a driver?

Very cool!  Can your tell us the story behind it briefly again?

Wendy

This hearse was my son's car in high school.  He loved the shock factor it gave when he drove around in it.   As parents, we were happy to find a used car for him that had been well cared for, had low mileage and was built like a tank should he ever get into an accident!  We actually bought the car on ebay.

The other piece of this story is that our family puts on a HUGE haunted house in our home every year on Halloween.  We use 3 rooms of our home as well as our yard for it.  The hearse is part of our yard decoration for the month of October.  We create a fake cemetery and back the hearse up to the gate, looking like it's ready to deliver a body.

Well now the hearse doesn't run.  It needs a new transmission and engine, so it is no longer driveable.  We had to have it towed to our front yard by a friend with a truck.  Well, when we tried to tow it out of our yard, with two different trucks, they both got stuck in the mud.  The friend has a busy schedule, so getting him back to tow it when the ground got firmer gets a bit complicated, so I joked about having this thing in the front yard for Christmas.  The crazy folks on this board told me to decorate it for Christmas, so we did!  I have to admit, I'm having a lot of fun with it!

Crazy, you said! We're not! Just high on life and painkillers!!!

I love it and wish that I could e-mail this to my girlfriend as her brothers are in the "inactive" business. They would get a big charge out of it.

Hillhoney,  That is great.  I love the skeleton Santa idea That is AWESOME!!!   I LOVE IT!!!!!  Great story, something to cheer us all up
