Marathon Training, Week 2 | Arthritis Information

Well, week one is over.  On Monday, Tuesday and Thursday I had to walk for 30 minutes.  I was sore and had problems with gelling but I did the time.  Yesterday was the beginning of week 2.  We walked for 40 minutes and small inclines were on the trail. 40 minutes is not a long time but I sure was glad when it was over.  Last night I slept 12 hours straight and I am exhausted today.  This being the case, how will I ever survive when I am walking for hours.  Okay, already I'm admitting to fear of survival but I saw that poor man cross the line in Ireland, on crutches, after walking 24 hours, then surely I can also.  My RA has not progressed to his level but he did it then so can I (I hope).  I see my rheumy Friday and I'll let him know what I'm doing.  Hopefully I'll be moving to shots since he has already suggested that.  I'm hoping the shots will be a magic potention and all will be better.

YOU ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!
