That is really cool. That is strange that the date of the article is '04 and we have never heard of it!

Mark1,

This is kind of a dynamic time for medicines. Now that we have started to understand dna and genetic make-up, many new medicines have been developed and are being developed.  You may not like the new drugs but the enbrel certainly helps me to feel better. Listen to the health news. They are on the doorstep of stopping diabetes in it's tracks. Sure these drugs I am taking have bad side effects, sometimes fatal, but before the biologics, what was the choice. Of course, we all know that the U.S. is the capitalistic pig. All drugs are developed to enrich drug companies. Did you know that most medicines come from the universities? Is the University of Michigan developing cures or money making drugs?  Is the Mayo Clinic just another drug company? The U.S. gives lots of money to schools and universities to develope and find cures. Do a search and find out how much is spent on medicine and you will be very surprised. Mark1, you have to get the nano-wasps out of your head. I strongly suggest that you go to your nearest VA Hospital. Just sit in the hallway and as they are pushed, carried, wheelchaired, and walk past you, ask yourself, "Am I better off than him or her." Spend some time there and you will certainly have a better outlook on life. Or maybe not. Mark1, many people can't see the forest because of the trees.
