Another doc, another problem | Arthritis Information

I swear I'm going to go out in the forest for a week and just see what happens, anything to avoid any more doctors.

I went to the Opthmaologist today because I've been having a really hard time with my eyes being blurry. I have Sjogren's, Glaucoma, uvetis, chronic inflammation from RA so I don't take chances. And, they are checking me out for MS type symptoms. So, it seemed to be the thing to do, just in case.

Well, I am doing all the right things for the Sjogren's. If the blurriness is from MS, they can't do anything about that. Great. It's been a real problem. Hmmm. I'm thinking that's bad enough news.

Ah! But the doctor has more news. Seems there are other problems. They always do a pressure test because of the Glaucoma (thank you prednisone). It's really high in my right eye. They are going to do new tests on my optical nerve next week.

Is there some place where you can apply for them stopping the number of problems you have.

So, I was thinking I would just avoid doctors altogether from now on, take magical herbs from kokoland, keep a stiff upper lip and all this horrid stuff will go away. It will, won't it? It is all in my head, right?

I am not sick. I am not sick. I will myself to be well. I will myself to be well. Come on, chant it with me.

In the movie "The Matrix" I was always sympathetic to the guy who decided to go back to the artificial world of the matrix...reality was just too hard to deal with...

I am not sick

I am not sick

I am not sick

Is it working yet?

You made me smile. Yes, I can understand that.

By the way, Alan, you look just fine to me. How can you possibly be sick?
