A Blessed Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year to you all!!

Love from Judi in England

Hi Judi...

I certainly wish you a very happy Christmas!  I haven't posted for a while - been having a devil of a time with my back and hips.  I found out that my problem isn't PMR.  It's good old fashioned Osteoporosis. The only good thing about that is that I won't have to take Prednisone. I've got three lower vertebrae with compressed fractures and that's what's causing the pain in my lower back and hips. I'm on Actonel to try to strengthen my bones.  I was pretty sure it was PMR because I've had the neck, shoulder and thigh problems before and I thought it had just moved to the hips.

All the best to you. I hope I can find as nice a group of people as this one with the Osteoporosis problem.  It's been a real pleasure exchanging thoughts with you...

merry christmas to you Judi & Walker,,,,,,,I've been told not PMR also and rhymy advised me to go to a chiropractor.....ache all over, now mostly in back of head and neck,,,,down to 2 pred.s and in two weeks down to 1 for 2 wks......just about given up but have appt. with my GP Jan 2 so here we go again......good luck to you both, someday someone will know what causes all this pain,.   so go forward to 2007......regards       & nbsp; rose
