Hi, Janet!

Just wanted to wish you a very happy birthday today!!!!
Hope you have a great celebration and are feeling well
enough to thoroughly enjoy things. Hope your Christmas
was a good one, too. We had fun here with the "kids"
here. The oldest and his girlfriend are going back to
their respective places today, after we do some
post-holiday shopping.('')

Happy new year, too!

Reni

Dear Reni,

Thank you so  very much!  I am having a wonderful day.  My hubby is at work, also my son, my daughter is with friends.  I pretty much have the day to myself....which I thoroughly enjoy!

I had 16 for dinner on Christmas.....I did the majority of the clean up last night, therefore, this am, just a little fluff and puff...and my house looks clean and festive.   And..................I don't have anything that I have to do!

Thank you for remembering and Happy New Year.

Oh my gosh, and Happy Belated Birthday to you.  Do you celebrate your Birthday on Christmas Day..or..and the end of the day perhaps!

Janet

Hello Janet

A Happy Birthday to you, too!

Hope you are having a more restful day today. I certainly have had to slow right down today as did too much yesterday. (Only 7 to dinner but very tired).

I hope you enjoy the rest of the holidays and have a very happy and healthier new year.

Love Judi

Dear Janet,

Wow - 16 over for Christmas!!! I'd be so tired if I had
that many!!

Thanks for the birthday wishes. I usually celebrate on
Christmas day (only one year, way back when, when my
brother threw me a 1/2-year party in June). And for
several years, the family has been giving me the day
off - they do all the cooking, cleaning, etc., and I
even get to choose what I want for dinner. This year,
however, since our son's girlfriend was here, and
things were a little out of kilter otherwise, I did the
cooking, though had lots of help from the girlfriend.
It was nice. Maybe we should have had 16, considering
all the food we had. Haha. When people tell me it must
be difficult having a Dec. 25th birthday (I did get a
lot of the combined gifts while growing up), I always
say it was nice never having to go to school or to work
on my birthday - so there are perks!!

Anyway, glad you had a good time. I admire your energy
level.

Have a great rest of December, and a happy new year.
And for Judi, I sure hope you get a handle on things
soon. Sounds like you've had a tough time for so long.
I know what you mean about having to go slower from
working too much the day before. Hope things get better
quick. Take care.

Reni

Reni,

As far as energy, I do better with more people around, it's a great distraction.  I have been feeling pretty good, some morning stiffness, but that goes away in a couple of hours.

My back is giving me fits and I don't have back problems...I know that because of the MRI I had during the process of finding out what was causing my pain.....we all know the story....lots of tests, then we find out PMR.

If the PMR has settled in my back, it can just go away now.  It's so confusing because I am due to taper next week,,after being on 10 mg for 10 weeks.

I think I tweaked something while using the ladder to decorate, but how long does a strained or sprained muscle last?  I have read sometimes weeks.....anyone know?

So anyway, I am going to reduce my dose as scheduled....I am a little nervous, cause I have heard we have some withdrawal symptoms. and there again, is it PMR or withdrawal.

Any suggestions on the back will help me.   Throughout this PMR, my pain has been in my shoulders, hips, butt, and a little in the back of my legs....but NEVER my back.

Well off to work.......I loved being home yesterday.....and nothing that I had to do!

Happy New Year,

Janet
