Our DIL came to our house last night, and agreed to give custody of our 14 month old grandson to us. At the moment its unofficial, but we have a call into the lawyer. She is talking about leaving the state, and we can not keep him indefinitely without custody simply so we can put him on our insurance.
We've been expecting this since she told us she was pregnant, but hoped against hope it wouldn't happen.
Jake is napping now, he had a restless night. its going to be hard getting used to a baby again but we will manage.

She did the right thing. None of us ever imagine raising a baby again especially after we are done raising our own children. You will do a great job.
It is getting to the point that we are all going to be sitting my daughter and her ex down to get the ball rolling for him to take custody of their daughter.
