Just wanted to say hello and that i am sorry i've not been keeping up
with the boards. i've been exhausted. yesterday we also had
a call from my MIL that my hubby's grandmother passed away. so i
weighed the options and picked calling him at work. figured he
needed to know sooner rather than later. i asked later if he'd
have preferred me to wait but..he was ok either way. turns out he
expected it. and we don't have to go home right away as she will be
cremated and a memorial service will be at a later date.

that but missing alone time. but, i love the company more than
alone time. it's hard to explain how much my best friend means to
me. there's only two, possibly three people who mean more.
gar and bastian for sure. no question about it. but i'd be hard
pressed if both my mom and mary needed me and i had to choose.
depends on the exact situation! i know both would probably
say..go to her. oddly, i made a joke the other night that mary
and i realized is kinda true. i said i married gar because he's a
lot like her. but after we talked it is kinda true really. they
both have an odd sense of humor!

wayney, I know exactly how you feel about your best friend! I have a best friend that I am that close with also. Carey and I have been best friends for 15 years or so. I can't imagine life without her! She and her hubby moved back here so that we could raise our children together (they are both only children). I am closer to her than I am to my own mother.
