Ever since i started taking the TNF inhibitors i never have a fever. I havnt had one in a long time, which is very odd because I always had them when I was younger. Even when I am very sick the highest it gets is 97.9. I had to stop the embrel when i was in the hospitol las year, and low and behold, i had a 101 fever. So, I was wondering if the TNF inhibitors prevent you from having a fever, or if it just happned at the right time? Does this happen to anyone else???

You can have a bad infection without a fever because of the suppression. If you have a fever while on the suppressive drugs, see a doctor right away even if it is just barely above normal. I've had really bad infections start this way. Also, don't forget if you are taking anti-inflammatories like Tyelnol, etc. and then you are running a fever that this shouldn't be happening either. Always err on the side of caution with these things.
