Hello Everyone!  Hope everyone is having a good morning

Have A Good Day

Lisa

Several of us are in the process of filing. The big emphasis on Social Security is going to be on whether you can work or not, at anything. If you are already at a hearing stage, I'd grab a disability lawyer. SS just denied several of us that I know are too ill to work, including myself. I have so much wrong with me and cannot do any work.

It is scary because you have to prove your case. They will also be looking at whether any kind of treatment such as surgery or Physical Therapy will help you work.

My advice is to get a lawyer at this point. There's limit to how much they can get paid which comes out award if they win. They get nothing if you don't and it should be capped at 00.

HI Lisa, I agree with Deanna. Get a lawyer now. My father could not work for 2 yrs and was in severe pain. He tried twice and was denied. My uncle is a lawyer and helped him. They actually had to pay him from the times they denied it.  It helped him so much. Look for a good lawyer that does disability. I hope all goes well for you. Take care
