I know MTX is in the FDA's Category "X" for Pregnancy because of the potential for birth defects if taken during conception/pregnancy. But, my question is, from a male standpoint, what are the possible options or side effects that can be expected if the male is the one taking MTX during conception? Anyway, I am going to the rheumatologist in a few weeks to get some questions answered but if anybody here has had any experience with this situation, please let me know.
