Arthritis Information -Carparal Tunnel

 

Hello Everyone,

Does anyone have Carparal Tunnel and it affects the shoulder?  I am going to have an EMG done next Monday.  I am having very bad pain in my right shoulder blade, up my neck and sometimes down my arm.  In the morning, I wake up with my fingers numb and tingling.  I had an X-ray done and it showed nothing, which I figured that..waste of the insurance money, lol.  Any advice would help!

Hey, I have that same pain. Hehe. But no, its not from carpel tunnel. What exactly did they x-ray?

There is a nerve in your elbow that can do that :

There is a great pic of where the nerve runs. I believe that's part of my problem, but I haven't had it checked out yet.

Surprisingly, docs will miss this one. It's worth asking about!
i am still having the problems as you and i had carpal tunnel surgery  3years ago, al so had cervical spine fusion 4 months ago. i have been to nuero and ortho . had emg 3 weeks ago and nerve in elbow is fine is what they told me. now i am going another ortho that my pcp send me to. i was on 600mg of ibuprofen but the dr took me off for swelling. now the pain is drivingme crazy. i hope you find some answers. let us know
