I'm a member of the Noe Valley Orchestra in San Francisco and we'll be playing our winter concert this Saturday. I'm very excited! It always feels so good to be able to play, in spite of this disease. I don't know what the future will bring, but for now I'm thankful for this small victory!

I really envy you Alan, I love music but can't play a note. I took guitar lessons in my younger days and after "twinkle, twinkle little star," the instructor told me that I had to cut my nails and that ended my career. Shame on me!That is so awesome! I was born in San Fransisco and raised in San Jose. I go back to visit my family quite often. Maybe I'll be able to see a concert one of these times.
