thank you! i posted this the other day before reading thru everything and after i read some of these stories i felt so stupid. i should be thankful i didnt have this since i was an infant. i cant even imagine.

i dont have a computer at home but i will try to post here when i can. it makes me feel better knowing there are other ppl that understand. my friends and boyfriend dont get it.the only one that understands is my step mother, cuz she has the same thing.but i dont like her so yea...lol

thanks!

thanks guys! i just registered on rasushi

life is not easy by any means BUT im great!! i have a wonderful boyfriend i am expecting my first child which terrified me that i would pass it on! but it does get better! i took so many meds that did not work for me now i am taking Enbrel and it is a godsend! i have been taking it for about 5 years now and sometimes i totally forget i have RA!  hang in there kiddo it is hard but it makes you such a strong person!! you find things around everyday life that is hard! i hid my RA from all my friends and all my boyfriends i didnt like when my family talked about it... but i recently told andy (my boyfriend) and he just looked at me like ok? and? i thought hed baby me and treat me like i was sick and he didnt! so be upfront about it if you feel it necessary! only if you are comfortable!! i would love to talk to you more and just answer all your questions when they come up!

please e-mail me itsmeepoo@yahoo.com i always wanted someone in my life that was dealing with it and was also my age!  you are very mature for asking for help i wish i did that when i was your age!!

good luck and remember you have RA, RA does not have you! you be the boss!! and excercise helps :)

Hey Kristina! I'm Katie, I'm 23, and I have had JRA since I was about 18 months old. You are not alone!! Lynk posted a very good forum, we have several members who are young just like you, dealing with the same things. :) I hope you'll check it out!! hi everyone. my name is kristina. i'm 17 years old and i was just told that i very likely have rheumatoid athritis. i've been having pain for almost 6 months now. it started in my back, so i thought it was just stress, but it went to my knees, and feet, and now its in my wrists and fingers. there is barely a part of my body that doesnt hurt. this isnt fair, i'm 17!!! can anyone help me, just talk to me and tell me if medicine makes it better? i'm scared and depressed and now i cant type anymore.

Feel free to post in the RA topic, that's where most of us hang out. The juvenile arthritis topic has some activity as well.
