Sounds pretty interesting...keep us updated!  Certainly sounds better than this nightmare of a study I'm on out of the University of Alabama.

Neasy; I wish you'd post an update on the study and explain in more detail about how it all works. It's been a while since you first decussed it and it would be good for everyone to understand how these studys are done.

It will also be very useful for those considering this as a personal option as well.

Informed choices; you know?

Ok all, I pulled this topic up from a while ago, but i just go back from my first meeting with the Psychology Dept at Wayne State University. This is going to be EASY! I completed some questionaires online today and answered tons of questions. I have to input info in a daily diary for the next 30 days, then i go in and do a writing assignment on one of 2 topics, either my health and how i live or stress and how i deal with it. I then have 3 other writing assignments that week. This will be in a month. I have to do 2 blood draws (maybe 3?) and then i go to 8 weeks of classes, again in either healthy living or stress management. Its a coin toss as to what topic i get entered into. THey are more than interested in getting more people into the study if you are local to either the WSU or Duke U locations... i posted the web site in a post above this one, so go to the web page and read about it. Call if you are interested! its easy, and i walked out with cash today!

let me know if you do join this study!

Hope all goes well for ya Unicorn. Good Luck!!someplace i have a link on how studies work in general.  i'll look for it and post it inthe links file.

Unicorn,  I think it is cool that you are supporting a study on RA and pain management.  Hopefully, studies like these will benefit all of us. Let us know any tips you learn to help us (me) learn to cope. Hoooooooooray for Unicorn
