Think warm thoughts! This is what I get to look at everyday on my drive to work!!

Also, this view:

While that is a summer picture, on sunny days it still looks like that in the winter. At it's worst, it's a deep navy blue color, but still amazing.

Here's a typical sunset - any time of year. Usually they are very pink, which is unusual, but pretty!

If you can't see the second two (they're being evil) Here are the URLS:

Katie,

I don't know if it's just my computer, but I could only get the first picture. It's a beautiful one though. I live outside of Tampa and don't get to the water very often. Thanks for sharing!

I added the URLs for the second two, they're being evil :-D

Katie, what a beautiful place to live! I'm in So. Cal., but it's been mighty cold here, lately. Down below freezing at night. We're not used to that!

You pictures made me feel warm for a moment. I truly hate to be cold. I'm sure most of us feel that way.

Thanks for sharing,

Nini

LoL It's still cold here. 30s at night. But the scenery never changes, so when you're in the car, it can feel like it's July. It's neat! :) I was hoping to warm everyone up!

I'm in MI and we just had an ice storm....uggg!

Pip

After the miserable grey rainy english weather that was better than any medicine to cheer me up .Thanks KatieOkay, you had to get even for the Evil Dead The Musical thing, didn't you.  You have succeeded in making me jealous!

Can you show me a picture of my room when I come to live with you?
LOL I invite you all to come visit me! Just be warned of the hurricanes, and 100+ degree weather...LOL

I'm in Michigan too Pip!  At least our winter just started this week!

What awesome pictures, Katie.  Thanks for sharing!

It's amazing to find them on websites about vacations and dream hotels, etc etc. To look at them and go "Hey, I see that every day."

It makes me think twice. Even though I drive that bridge twice a day, how many times a week, or a month, do I ACTUALLY look out at the water and appreciate the beauty? How much of it do I take for granted? A lot, I'm sad to say. I'm trying not to do that anymore...

We used to live in South Africa with some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world and the beaches were unbelieveable. We lived about 1 minute walk from the south beach in Durban and then in Cape town. We took it all for granted, the views, the warm weather, the smells of africa, the culture on our doorstep. Its only now we have so much grey drizzly weather that we realize how lucky we were to experience it al.

Oh Beautiful picture! It reminded me of when I lived in LForida, man oh man do I miss that.

I live in Michigan too, very cold but the ice on everything looks so pretty when the sun is out ( and yes, the sun did come out!).

My friends have requested from me to find a wealthy man with a home in Florida so we can all go there in the wintertime...and they keep telling me, "Jode, it keeps getting colder and we are ready for a vacation, whatcha waitin' on?" THey are so funny! Like in these parts of the woods their are any available men! lol

My doors froze the other day so it has been interesting to say the least.

jode

I'm in SE UK and it's blowing up a hooligan right now

I hope you weren't in your car when this attack took place

As for the weather, January seems such a waste of time this year don't you think?

Btw, are you a stitcher or does your username reflect how you sometimes feel?
