Thank you, Katie for the welcome, and the advice. Wow! you have managed with ra most of your life. You must be amazingly resillent. I really wish you luck with your relafen. I know first hand about rx cost, and lack of insurance. Maybe, your dr. can get you samples for awhile... Your so right about the flares, and what triggers them, but like you said we don't listen to each others advice about taking it easy or maybe we want to, but can't because of obligations. Just joined tonite and wanted to introduce myself I am 43 and have had RA for 14 years now. Started on Orencia in July and would love to hear from others that are also on it. Looking forward to meeting new people and learning a lot here!!

Hello, I find myself here, lucky to have found this site. I've had ra for 8 years now, but only diagnosed for the past 2. I'm on methrotrexate, plaquinel, and relafen. Among several other drugs for different conditions. I find myself depressed often and frustrated trying to keep up with my 10 year old daughter. Ra has taken the ability to practice opticianary from me. Its good to read all the post. So much information, I don't feel alone at all. Does anyone have any advice on preventing flares? It seems anytime I try to get something done I have one.Wow, I don't know how we all missed this thread to welcome you! Sorry!!!!!!! It's the fog, I swear.
