there--thanks for the many replies! I do have a couple of questions--one of
which is kind of stupid, but not used to the format of this forum
yet--How do you reply to a specific message in a line of messages? I
tried to tonite but can't seem to figure it out.
Also is there some way on here to get email notifications when you have messages?
you just have to go to the bottom of the thread and add your reply to the string of other's. You can't really reply to just that one particular person unless you want to send a PM. If you do then you just click on their little PM box at the bottom of their box.
I'm not sure about the email notifications. I don't get them either here. I'll poke around and see if I can firgure that one out for you. I'm not sure you can here.
Welcome to the forum. We used to get email notifications but they just suddenly quit doing them. Most of the other forums do. It does make it easier to keep track of a topic. I wish they'd do it again. No one moderates this forum so we have no one to complain to.
In order to reply to a topic, click on it's heading. Then there is a button below the last entry called "Reply." You have to be logged in to the forum in order to reply to a message.
Then just type in your message and click "Post Reply." And waallaa, you're done.

If you're logged in, there should be a "post reply" box at the end of all the messages. Or u can take a look at the top right hand corner of the first message...u should see a "post reply" click on that and it'll take u to where u post your reply. If you're not logged in, then it'll take u to where u log in.
