YUMMY!! I love Banana Bread.

Post the recipe. I always throw out over ripe banana's that I could use for bread if I knew how to make it.

Lovie: That's why I made banana bread cuz' of over ripe bananas.

I have lots of cookbook from churchs that my mil gave me over the years. I guess she wanted to make sure I fed her son right. LOL

1/2 c. butter     1 tsp. baking powder

1 c,. sugar        1 tsp. salt

2 eggs         &n bsp;  1 1/3 c. flour

3 soft, ripe bananas      1/2 c. nuts (optional)

1 tsp. lemon juice (which I never have so I add vanilla instead)

Cream butter, sugar, and eggs. Add dry ingredients. Mix well. Then I break up the bananas in peices and run the mixer through it a few times (I like it chunky like me

Put in a greased and floured loaf pan. Bake 1 hour at 325 degrees

I use 3 little loaf pans and bake for about 1/2 hour. Test with toothpick.

My family loves it warm with butter spread on it.

Enjoy..

Disregard the &n bsp;

Don't know where that came from definitely not an ingredient.

My Momma use to make banana bread every Christmas and give it to the neighbors. I would eat it warm with butter on it every morning for breakfast during our school break. MAN; that brings back memories.

I'd do anything for a slice right now!!

I'll send you some thru cyberspace. LOL

It's great that you had a decent day!
