Dear Abby,

My husband is a liar and a cheat. He has cheated on me from the beginning, and when I confront him he denies everything. What's worse, everyone knows he cheats on me. It is so humiliating! And since he lost his job seven years ago, he hasn't bothered to look for a new one. All he does is smoke cigars and cruise around with his buddies shooting the bull while I have to work to pay the bills. Since our daughter went off to college he doesn't even pretend to like me, and he hints to his friends that I may be a lesbian. What can I do?

Signed, Clueless

Dear Clueless,

Grow up and dump him! Good Grief, woman, you don't need him any more. You're a United States Senator from New York . Act like one!!!!

Dear Clueless,

Good, bad or uglywise, hang onto his coat-tails, you are going to need him. If it weren't for your husband, you would still be an unknown lawyer working for an unknown law firm.

levlarry39109.4420486111HarrumphPretty funny.  Hee Hee!
My personal opinion: If this is humor its hit a new low.

Well, I didn't post to insult anyone. I do think she set a bad example for women by publicly putting up with all his garbage. I cannot vote for a woman that would do that.

But this was a joke and meant as such. I didn't create. It made me laugh.

Well me thinks they are both jokes. Made me laugh too. If it was me I'd would have thrown him out coattails and all.!!!
. . . I do think she set a bad example for women by publicly putting up with all his garbage. I cannot vote for a woman that would do that.
I agree. She should've dumped Bubba.

I know that Sen. Clinton has been the victim of outrageously vicious, sexist, sadistic, and at best puerile "comedy" on the 'net and on certain news channels. But I don't think this joke is one of them. I think it speaks to the frustrations of many women who feel Sen. Clinton's loyalties are misplaced.I liked your joke Deanna, and I also liked levlarry's response too.  You see I am reaching out across party lines to find humor in a bipartisan way and breaking from the tradition of only laughing at jokes pointed at the opposing party. . .
