I finally got my General Assistance from the state. It's not much but it will help pay utilities. They took so long to do it that it's time to reapply in just 2 weeks. Now, I'm reapplying on everything else.
LTD denied me based on my hours worked. As a contractor, you don't get sick or vacation time which they insist must be used. Another Catch-22. The lawyer has to review it to see if anything can be done. But it doesn't look good. Be sure to check your policies.
