MTX and Enbrel? | Arthritis Information

Would those taking both of these RA meds let me know if you take them both on the same day? My Dr says that I can and I thought that I might as well feel bad once a week rather than twice a week but I don't want to be seriously ill.

I take Mtx injectibles and Enbrel twice a week.

I take my Enbrel on Tuesday and Friday and my Mtx on Thursday. I don't really have any s/e from the Enbrel, but i feel crappy after the Mtx.

If your RD says you can take it all on one day, I say go for it. You may be able to tolerate it. I'm happy with my regimen right now, so I'm not going to change anything. Let us know how it works for you!

I agree with Lori--if your RD says yes, then do it.

I take both Enbrel and MTX--on different days, because the nurse at my doc's office told me I should. Didn't say why though. Luckily for me, I don't have any noticable side effects from either drug.

Scroll down and read what I wrote about having a veg out, "Me" weekend. I was just like you and preferred to get it over with all at one time. It's been a good idea.
