tear duct plugs | Arthritis Information

Does anyone have these for dry eyes? I'm using anti-inflammatory drops and Restasis, but I'm still having a lot of problems with painful watery eyes. My eye doctor said this would be the next step, but the idea just grosses me out.I have them--both in the top ducts and the bottom. It was really no big
deal. You can't even see them---they don't hurt or anything. They make a huge difference and are very comfortable. You can't tell they are there and it's easy to put them in.I have them in both eyes.  It defintely is no big deal.  You can't see them.  I still use refresh eyedrops when they get really dry but the plugs will really help you.  Good luck.I had punctal duct plugs.  I really didn't have any problem other than they popped out once in a while.  I eventually had the lower duct cauterized (permanently closed).  This was a little uncomforatable for a day or two, but the effects are permanent and no need to keep getting plugs put in.  Thank you for all the responses. I'm glad to hear they're not so bad.
