Does anyone have a problem with sores and scratches on hands and feet healing slowly. My dr keeps saying it might be diabetes, tests me and doesn't find anything wrong. Then they check the circulation and it is fine. No answer.
If I get a scratch or scrape it can take 2 months to heal and leaves scars that last 6 months or more.

Prednisone slows healing as well.
I have this problem too; and it's not jsut on my hands and feet. It's pretty much anywhere I get a sore.
I you are on any immune suppressant medication, that really slows healing.This predates my MTX although I haven't talked to my Rheumy about it just my primary care. I don't know why that oversight, I normally bring up every little thing, guess this one just slipped my mind. I will bring it up at my next visit. It helps to know that others have seen this as well.
