If you have not entered the contest on HGTV.com it is time you
did. You can win a beautiful furnished house in Colorado, cars,
etc. It really is the house of all houses and it would solve all
of our money problems, thats for sure. So do it and let's hope

I saw that on tv and it is an awsome, beautiful home. The problem is the taxes would be outrageous! I am certain the person who wins it will have a huge loan payment just for the taxes not including each year. It is set in beautiful country on a ski resort I believe, which means miles away from any town. Whoever wins it will have to have quite a bit of money and there is probably a clause in the contract ( fine print) that you cannot sell the home for a certain amount of time.
No doubt it would be a wonderful place to live especially if you enjoy skiing...I believe it also has a ski-in-ski-out room. THe mountainous, wooded view is fantastic, but the elevation would be way too hard on my RA I am almost certain so I decided not to enter. I would have entered for my nephew that already lives in Colorado but I am not sure exactly where it is located from where he works.
The one thing you could do if you were to win it if there is not a specified clause in the agreement is to accept the home then rent it out to vacationers, which would be fantastic. It would also be nice to look into it and see how it is zoned, you may be able to donate it to the local ski resort or even sell it to the local ski resort as a lodge type rental.
It is so beautiful that I almost want to enter to win it that is for sure!
