Good a.m. everybody,
Had a horrible nite last nite, just couldn't get enough oxygen. Don't know what that was about. Still have it this morning. But what I'm writing about is I have been on prednisone for 2 months and have now developed thrush in my mouth and a yeast infection. So what do I do now. I know there is a pill, diflucan, I think for this but do I try to get off the pred. because of it or just get the pills and stay on the pred.???? I'm on 10 mg pred coming down from 15 and still have lots of pain in my hands, wrists and shoulders.

jule read your other msg on another thread about taking Ambien,,,,maybe that is what has caused your yeast infections...don't fool around and go back to your doctor and strictly follow his instructions. roseI'd *definitely* phone the doctor's office and ask to speak with the nurse and tell her exactly what you've told us here. She'll either advise you, or more likely, talk with the doctor for orders and get back with you. Poor thing! I know you must be miserable.
