Actonel & neck pain | Arthritis Information

Hi all, My doctor says I MUST take Actonel, because of my high risk of osteoperosis, but after taking it 35mg on Tuesday my neck is really creaky (those horrible sounds of bone on bone when you turn your head....does everyone understand that explanation?) I had been doing really well with pain/sleeping/stiffness until I took that Actone. I'm on MTX - 4 x 2.5, starting up on Remicade, first teatment 2 wks ago, and 3 - prednisone, Lasix for water retention because of a heart operation I must not get 'fluid' in my lungs, etc. So, anyway does anyone have info on Actonel? Hurting less.

Hi Hurts

I take actonel too. Had to go off of it because it was giving me backaches. I know that backaches are a side effect.  I recently went back on actonel to see if it was the problem, and I have slight backaches again. You may wanna check and see if there are also side effects for the neck.

very interesting, thanks!
