I'm a mother of a ten year old boy with juvenile arthritis. He recently had an adverse reaction to remicade and methotrexate ( in combination ). The reaction, I believe, was serious, and he continues to experience blood problems and now tests positive for auto-antibodies. Has anyone experienced reactions as well?
I've just finished my 2nd remicade infusion (weigh 107) and had no negative reaction. I take a small amount of methotrexate each week and must now take prednisone until the other two work. Good luck with your little boy!
