Who knows, may be the wrist splints will keep me out of a wheelchair.  They make such a difference.  The pain in my wrist goes from a 9 to a 3 and I can use my cane

It's hysterical!

Yeah...he's cute isn't he

Now if I could only find one for my poor feet!! and my thumbs...and my shoulders!!

I have also noticed that sleeping with my arms straight, as in elbows unbent, really helped alot with wrist pain during the day. I was instructed to do this at some point in the past during a spell with broken bones as a kid. Not really sure why, but it seems to help me out quite a bit lately with this also. I also use the wrist splints they are nice!

me too.

I have a collection of splints stashed everywhere, for both arms. in the car, bedside table kitchen stufdy..lol

my favorite is a black ace  wrist splint,  feels sooo good. I aslo use what is called a "pillow splint", its long up to the elbow and out over the fingers, used on either hand.. It has a rigid metal splint that runs along the TOP of the arm..I sleep with that one quite often and boy does it help..

kathy_in_wlsv39135.4669675926When I got my wrist splints the ortho doctor told me to definitely only wear them when I needed too. He said otherwise your wrist will get weaker and weaker and your rely on the splints more and more. He said you can OD on them like any other medicine. Just something to keep in mind. But I definitely throw those puppies on for some relief when I need to. I think the pressure they supply when you tighten them up is definitely part of it Thank you all.  After wearing my wrist splints for 3 days, my wrists are so much better.  Now if my back didn't hurt
