Arthritis Information -Ankle Replacement

Hello, my name is Becky. I've had 3 surgeries for a total ankle replacement and heel plate. I also had wrist reconstruction. I've just hit my 3 yr mark.

What questions do you have? I may not be of much help because I don't have my arthritis diagnosed yet, hopefully soon though. I will try to help compare notes as best as I can.

My status now is that I cannot get groceries by myself any longer, the swelling will never stop it seems. I need to use a cane but refuse to. Walking is very hard sometimes depending on if it's a good day or a bad day. The mall is totally out of the question any more. Do you go through any of this also? Oh, also, it took me 7 months to return to work and that was "faking" it on a cane.

hey laldies
i've had (J)RA for about five years now and i'm on my way to getting reconstruction therapy in my wrists and probably with my ankles too.
I know i don't have much to offer, other than support, but the pending surgeries are scary
