We now have officially become a .org...rasushi's message board is, for now, still at the old addy...but you can get to it by way of a new addy and soon we will have a real-deal homepage at this link. www.rasushi.org  So for all you sushi fans, change this link in your faves list and keep checking back for more exciting things to come!

PS-we invite you all to visit our 'pop-ups' section and offer input into what you would like in a RA web page....remember RAsushi is a place for people with RA, by people with RA----

and thats means all of YOU!!!

Yes, please please tell us what you'd like for a good arthritis web site. I don't want to put something up that has useless bits, or is lacking something really cool. :) Thanks!

When are you people going home and quit spamming here. As sweet as you try to make people believe you are, I will continue to show people what you and you asspciates are. Spammers and down right mean people. You spam your new home. Go home. You have your new home. Go home. Go home. Take your other spamming members with you. Everybody, RAsushi has a new home. Arriscolwell asks for suggestions for their spamming site. Here's a suggestion arriscolwell, quit spamming on this site and go home. Go Home. Go home.

MOD when did AI become your private property. You have only been a member since Feb 16th. You have no right to dictate to others what is appropriate on this board. And you are the meanest person I have ever met. Get a grip on reality.

I want the members of sushi to stay here. I am a member of this forum and I can say that. You might disagree but you can just stop being nasty about it.

Deanna,I've noticed that you are very selective about who you reprimand. When your friends attack others you overlook that. Strange how you don't find them to be mean do you? You have the same mentallity as them. You and they have been here along time therefore you and them have special rights. The new member(s) have just as much right as you and your associates. Show me where you have said something to your fellow members when they have been not just mean but down right nasty. Tell them to quit using this forum as their personal advertisement site. I am looking forward to you showing where you have reprimanded them for mean and nasty attacks.

I asked this question before but never got an answer. I will ask again. If you didn't like the neighborhood and moved away to get away from the neighbors, why do you keep coming back to visit? I reallly think that if you disliked the way the forum was run that you would be busy with your new site and not posting here. You have made it very clear that rasushi is out there. I don't see the other owners of different sites here advertising theirs. It confuses me. I LOVE ALL THE RA SUSHI FOLKS AND I AM JUST HAPPY THEY COME HERE TO VISIT.  RA SUSHI IS LOOKING GREAT AND IS SO WELL ORGANIZED Thanks Roxy! :)  There are good things happening at www.4ratalk also. They have a great group of mods there 24/7. Perhaps you should start your own thread about your site? www.4ratalk is also a great site. People should check it out too. There are some great people there. I think a lot of them...........so you can post your link and it's okay...........but you're calling this spam? Why can't people just come out and say it, instead of parading around like clowns about it.

Here, here's some more RA sites-

www.rheumahasit.jconserv.net

www.rheumamisfits.com

www.4ratalk.com

www.arthritis.org

www.dailystrength.com

Now, getting back to the ORIGNAL post.....we bought www.rasushi.org. We thought that was pretty freakin cool. I think it's pretty freakin cool. We want to post, to let people know it's easier to remember the url now. Whee. Simple as that. :)

I'm sorry. I'm just getting really frustrated dealing with all of this garbage. But such is life I suppose.

I'm TRYING to be nice about it all, because as an admin of a forum, I don't want people to get a bad idea about our site. But it's hard to sit by and watch people make annoying, false comments about our site. Anyone who pours their heart into their work would behave the same way. You can't tell me that if you didn't like the architecture of a new building, and you told the designer that it was "crap" that he wouldn't try to defend it. Just because he built something that doesn't match the existing skyline, doesn't mean that it's an eyesore. You can't expect that attacking ANYONE isn't going to create a rise out of them - no matter the reason behind the attack. And maybe that's what you're after. If you are, then in all rights and respects, you've won. You and your buddies have gotten a lot of people riled up. Maybe that makes you happy. Proud. Excited. Whatever the case may be.

All in all, the behavior that we've seen on AI in the past week has been nothing short of appalling. Some of it has come from people who claim to run this site. The rest of it has come from everyone else, giving into the nonsense and responding. And we all know we're guilty of it. I'm guilty of it. Crunchy's guilty. Everyone who ever posted back is guilty. But like I've already said, it's hard to sit by and let someone bash something you've worked so hard on.

I'm tired of dancing around the eggshells that have been laid out. This is how I feel. Straight up with no BS in the middle. I love sushi. I love AI. I love all 9 message boards that I belong to.(yes 9, I'll list them if you're curious) Even the one that I get ignored on. And the one that no one ever posts on. And the one that only has a little bit to do with RA. I love them all because each one has different people, with different experiences, and I get different information. And that's what this whole thing is about. Trying to provide people with an additional outlet. Period. PERIOD.

If you don't like a certain message board then say "I don't like that message board" If you don't like the PERSON running the board, then just say "I don't like that person" Is that REALLY so hard to do. Let me start. I don't like you. I don't like you because you're a hypocrite. Period. I like 4ralk though. See, wasn't that easy?

When did we all revert back such infantile behavior? Is it because when we sit down to our keyboards, and stare at our screen we feel invincible? No one can see your face, or hear your voice, so you suddenly grow a pair and feel like you can, and should, take on the world? Maybe it's just the weather. We've all been cooped up for too long. We need some sun.

I need some sun.

This is the last I have to say about all of this crap. I'm done with it. I know I was "done with it" before. But I've reached the breaking point. I'm not going anywhere though, don't take that the wrong way. I already said I love AI. There are far too many people here that I love and need to support. And far too many people who sign on each day that are DESPERATE for some help. I want to help. I just plan on ignoring the people who come here for the wrong reasons. And yes, quite frankly, that's you.

Feel free to argue with this post all you want, you might as well talk to a brick wall.

I'm done.

Katie

I personally want to thank everyone who has taken the time and effort to put together RAsushi.  I think it is a wonderful site.  Although I don't post much, I lurk often.  Anyone can read and tell the passion that each and every person has put into it.  I am pleased to know such a committed, caring group of people.  Keep up the good work!

Buckeye, Bucksmack, Buckoff, Buckjackoff,

Whoever you are...go back from which you came.

As I said many, many, many times (although apparently not enough times for you to comprehend), it wasn't what Ari said, it was how it was said.  I agree, that a positive outlook is half the battle.  It was the delivery.  Do you understand?  Do you get it?  Did it get thru your buckeye thick skull?

It's people like you that piss everyone else off.

I'm offended and I'm not even to the point of disability...how dare you? who the hell do you think you are?

RA affects everyone DIFFERENTLY....do you understand what that means?  It means that you might be able to function at a higher level than someone else who has RA.  There are also many other factors involved.   Additionally, you have only been diagnosed for 1 year.  Some of the people on this board have battled this disease for years and years.

I say take your 2 cents and put it where the sun doesn't shine....

sorry if this is blunt, but you struck the wrong chord with me~and you have no right.  You don't even know anyone here.

Lori

Buckeye,
It's not that her opinion doesn't meet ours, it is THE WAY SHE EXPRESSED IT.  I'm not going to say that again.  I'm tired of trying to get it thru your thick heads.  Everyone should have their own opinion, that is what makes us human and special.  What she said is right, but damn it, she said it in the wrong manner.
Additionally, many of us have to be "on" for everyone else that we need a GOOD support system.  We have found that here.  if we don't MEET your standards....see ya, don't let the door hit you where the good lord split ya.

Hi hello and hey. Just signed up on this forum, but I'm not new to the forum world. I've always been a fan of this site, can't really tell you why I didn't do this sooner!

My name is Katie, I'm 23 and live in sunny(hah) FL. I have JRA (juvenile rheumatoid arthritis) and have for as long as I can remember. I've just recently hit a big flare, and have no health insurance, so I've been coping by dumping it all on my forum buddies. Whee. A'int life grand?

Hoping this place will feel like home!

Katie
