I think it is in the air....
I just visited one of my other boards and they had a topic called "can't we all just get along"? Apparently, they are having similar problems. Although, it wasn't nearly as heated and nasty as our posts were.
I've given this some thought because I have had some time on my hands. I think it is really important for all of us to remember that whatever we write is open to individual interpretation. That interpretation is based on past life experiences. We don't have the advantage to seeing ones face and influxion in their voice to help us understand the poster. I also think it is easy to spout off and not think as much about the consequences.
Basically, I'm asking that we all work really hard to keep this forum a safehaven for those who want to come here for any type of support. I think we have a great group of people. I think there will be times when we get on each others nerves, but that too shall pass.

I agree...and I think most everyone else does too. I am not sure why some people are attacking me or sushi..they claim it is because we mention our board and invite people from time to time...and because we have it in our sig panel...but others have done the same and were not attacked. I think it is a personal vendetta to try to run some of us off. That is a silly idea. The people that have been here will remain, and only the newbies will be frightened away. (we have seen a 3X increase in our new membership at sushi since mod started posting) I wont ever leave this board, and I want to see it get back to the friendly manner it was in when I joined too.
