Does or did anyone take Celexa for depression? I was given the Rx and the new dr said it would help with depression and anxiety. I was just wondering if anyone got help with it.

I have taken celexa for several years. It has helped me alot. You have to remember even though you take an antidepressant you can still get down but it isn't as severe. I had severe depression and I fiqured I didn't care what it did to me as the depression was horrible. I am a pharmacy tech. There are alot of different antidepressants. I have been on 3 or4 different ones. Everyone is different so don't get discouraged. They aren't going to hurt you. They can also help with pain. Good Luck Pat
