i have been out on short term for my illness for a good month, now my Insurance company calls me and tells me I have to have an Independant Medical Exam done...I heard Horror Stories about those exams..has anyone experienced this?

No, but I have dealt with Social Security Drs. That was a horrible experience. Do you have have a Rheumatologist? If you do that should help you with the insurance. That way if you have trouble, your Dr can refute their decision. Good luck.
