RA & Caffein? | Arthritis Information

I love coffee and the lift it gives me, what is the opinion of the forum folks on drinking 3-4 cups a day?Same here. It may interfere with sleep.

So far, no improvement, but I'm trying to keep it up.  I'd like to give up sugar too, but I don't think I can handle that right now.

Yes hurts I do take them all! I should by stock in drug companies.

ps I think my list is rather modest!

I just read that caffeine may worsen symptoms. However, I have
given up so much lately; I refuse to give up the caffeine!

I quit smoking as it's supposed to be "bad" for RA. (I know, it's bad
for everything!) I haven't had a cig in 80 days!

WOW JINX!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS ON QUITTING SMOKING!!

Wish I could......My friend has quit for over one year using accupuncture. How did you do it?

Hi!

Thank you very much!! I was a smoker for 23 years; so it was HARD
to quit. The HARDEST thing.

I had tried almost everything in the past -- patch, gum, etc. Nothing
seemed to work.

This time, I did the taper and fade method. Cut back on the number
of cigarettes every day, until I was down to about 3-4 per day. (I was
a pack a day smoker.) Then, I just stopped.

The first three weeks were the hardest. But, it does get easier. It
really does. I still miss them; but not all the time. Some days I don't
think about them at all!

Thanks for the congratulations! Take good care.
