Hi. This is my first post on here. Just wanted to say Hi to everyone. Newly diagnosed with RA. Rheummy appt is on March 12. Had foot surgery in Jan. and am just getting mobile from that. Started PT last week and hopefully it is going to help. Those foot surgeries are really something. Look forward to reading and hearing from everyone.
Hi Maggie B, good to hear from you. I hope that your foot continues to heal and that the PT helps.

Hello Maggie! :) Welcome to the club!

Welcome! Can you share what type of foot surgery you had? I am facing surgery on my big toe joint in the near future and was wondering if you had something similar done?Hi, I'm new also. This is a great group of people, they have helped me with so many questions I've had. What is PT? This is a great resource for finding out about how medications work for folks. I used to just take a small amount of MTX, except during extreme flare-ups, but now am on Remicade & prednisone (because of surgery in Dec). Welcome to the forum. Doesn't hurt anymore.
Welcome Maggie. I wish you a speedy recovery.
Hurts - PT is physical therapy. (Glad you're not hurting anymore!)
Wanted to thank everyone for the nice welcome. Hope to post often. It seems like a nice board with alot of nice people. Can't wait to get to know everyone.
Welcome Maggie!
I hope that big toe replacement ends the 'agony of defeat'. I'd like 2 new feet
Welcome to the board!
I've had RA for a number of years; think that my big toes are going to need some surgery some time in the not-too-distant future, so will be interested to hear how long you were in hospital, how long in plaster etc.
Hope that you make a good recovery.
