My kids are growing up way too fast. It means I am getting older and I have not done most of the things I would have liked to have done, but the RA is also getting worse, so that hinders the things I want to do.
Anyways... my daughter is gone to Mobile, Alabama for a day. Yeah first time she will have been gone far away without someone from our family with her. She is going to a State Bible Study Quiz to compete. It is her and her friend. They have been studying the book of Acts for a couple of months now and have read the whole Book of Acts. Her and her friend are the top 2 at getting the questions right. So, this morning I had to get her bag packed and tell her bye and that I loved her, as she was going to school and then getting picked up at noon to go to Mobile. I cried this morning after she left. I like being there for my kids, but I cannot go to Mobile and leave son. It is time she gets to go and do things without mommy watching over her. I am very pretective of my kids, usually they do not go anywhere without me, but since I have not been doing so well the last couple of years, she has been going places without me.
As for son he is growing up so fast. No more crib for him, time to tunr it into a toddler bed, but we will probably wait until we move to do that. He has big words he can say like "Power Rangers, vacuum cleaner, pencil, I take your picture, and a bunch more. He says way more at 28 months than his sister did, and we thought she was a genius
He just came in here to me and said mommy, got to pee. I said we you got a pull up on go potty. So, he went into the bathroom and got on his little potty and peed, and than came in here and said I pee, com'on mommy go look! So, I went and looked a clapped for him and told him he done good.
Why do they have to grow up?
Joonie, I sure know how you feel. The time just flew by. I got all misty eyed the other day when looking at old pics.
I have my 20th wedding anniv coming up on the 7th and I wonder how time flew so fast!
Just be grateful you were blessed with such sweet, wonderful, smart, kids! I thank God everyday!
