Good morning, I'm looking for a 'new name' now that I don't hurt anymore. I still have stiffness, swelling and fatigue, but nothing hurts. FeelingBetter is one great suggestion. Other? I'm trying the 2-1/2 a day down from 3 on my Prednisone. Does anyone know about 'the moon face' from Pred. or is that another drug? Also, not drinking caffeine drinks as it causes my heart to 'thump' --that was a good suggestion from someone. I'm writing to my congresswoman Lois Capps, Representative (she's a nurse by profession and would understand what we are all going through!) I think I'm addicted to cheerios with the prednisone I eat them alllll the time! Have a great day everyone.
I immediately thought of "HappyDays." It brings such good thoughts to mind and when you have rougher days, it will remind you that "Happy Days" are just right around the corner.
I got the moon face right after starting the Pred. I hate it because my face was round to begin with. And it makes me look older and fatter. But I believe they go away for most people once they go off the Pred.
