sunshine and a little red sports car | Arthritis Information

Warning: if you live in an area that's experience winter weather you may not want to read this!

I live in the San Francisco bay area and it was a glorious day with bright sunshine and a temperature of about 70 degrees (...at least in the south bay; I don't live in SF).  My Christmas present this year was a little red 2-seat convertible sports car (Honda S2000).  Yes, my wife is a wonderful person. I lowered the top and went for a drive this afternoon; the warm sun and cool breeze felt wonderful!  I did a little shopping and a lot of driving and walking.  I'm happy to report it still feels good to be alive!

Today only: Alan 1, RA 0

The nice part of me smiles as I read this and says, "Good for you, Alan, God bless."

The other part of me wants to find you and rub your face in the snow.

And.....while Scout rubs your face in it, I'm going to put snow in your britches!!

I'm so glad you had a great day.  It really is a good day with RA has ZERO!

AWWW.......Alan, I live in central IL in the middle of a bunch of mud, and dirty snow piles. That sounds so wonderful. We have a 76 trans am (we call Sunkis it's bright orange) that I can't wait to get out once the weather gets better.

Glad you had a great day. I'm jealous!

Sounds absolutely wonderful! I am knee deep in snow and have decided I have had enough of it! I may just get me a shiney new sports car and move south!

Alan, I'm so glad you had a great day! We all need something like that from time to time. Makes us remember that life is still good.

I'm in So. Calif., and it was a beautiful day here, too. I got to open up the house and let the nice fresh air in.

Sounds like you had the kind of day that makes you glad to be alive!

Keep it up.

Hugs & Blessings,

Nini

I love San Francisco!!! What a wonderful place to be! You Go Alan!!!

Congratulations on the new toy... It sounds wonderful! It sounded a blissful day Alan.   My knowledge of San Fran consists of the pretty houses, Greens restaurant
(being vegetarian would love to go there) & Tales of the City by Armistead Maupin on TV some years ago which because of my age I thought it was so cool.
Glad you had such a good day, it is great when you have a day to build your spirits. Makes you get through the not so good days. Do it again soon.
Best wishes,

OK...nobody quite asked, but I'm sure you were thinking about it.  Here's a picture...my son named it "Mighty Mouse".

That is the ZipZaps version of what you got, Alan. It is modeled after fast & furious car.

But it doesn't have any wheels...do you put your feet through the floor like the Flinstones?

As for me, It was a lovely 30 degrees, but sunny, so I actually went to the ocean.  It's where I find my peace.  Not quite your beautiful day, not quite your car, I was in my jeep with the heat on, but I still liked it.

We all need to find a little piece of sunshine and fun and forget about our "issues".

Nice car!
