We decided to go on a weekend break not so long ago , it was great for the mind and the soul.We went to the most southly tip of England to a place called cornwall and we visited Landsend.

Here a few photo's of some of the wonderful scenery

I wish I could take a break. I wish I could have a break from all this darn ol swelling, pain, stiffness, and lack of ROM. Ahhhh what a life that would be.

Oh, thank you for sharing these. They are so lovely. What a nice gift to share. It's so pretty! Makes me want to go to Cornwall again. I hope you had a great time. Last time I went to Landsend it was raining and there were gale force winds - it was superb!!Armchair travel sure makes it a small world. Our oldest DD is in Peru for spring break, I can't wait to see her pictures, her email today said she got a sunburn and we got 8 inches of snow. Next year she's transfering to Scotland, it'll be colder than Cornwall, but do you get snow that stays on the ground Pin Cushion, your pictures look so summery.
DeidreHow beautiful!  Your country is so lovely  - saw just a bit of it last year, late March and April, daffodils and primrose were blooming everywhere, loved the Cotswolds, and were lucky enough to visit the Lake District on a beautiful sunny day.  Hope to someday return and see everything we missed!.   Thanks for the day-brightener!  Pat

We were lucky tat the weekend was sunny although it was cold.I live in Kent and the snow we get stays on the ground for about 24hrs if we are lucky.lol

How lucky to be going to peru.I love to look at picture from all over the world, as you say it makes it a small world.

Landsend in galeforce winds must be great although i would be sat in the little icecream shop watching the world go by.

Your Photo's are always so beautiful! Definitely take a few shots in Peru! I love these posts...

I MISS THE UK!! YOU SUCK!!!

Maaaaaannn you have me missing it over there bad

You know the place we only got to once, was the Lake District....man that's a hidden gem. Lived over there for 6 years and didn't get to the Lake District until our last year. We stayed at a little B&B on the side of a hill, they were sheep farmers and the sheep would come right up to the house! They were so sweet! It was just amazing!!!

One day I WILL get back!!

Thanks for sharing Pin, I love Cornwall but haven't been for quite a while - favouring Pembrokeshire this last few years.

Scattered, it was blowing up a hoolie when we were at Lands End too - perfect weather for the rugged setting. Had great fun just leaning

Katie, I've done the Lake District too, stunning scenery and big skies up in the mountains. We travelled to the coast every day we were there just to catch some of the best sunsets the UK has to offer.

Siiiigh........I swear I was right there just now
