I hope this makes you smile as much as me.....  I love my Dolce!  She is such a hoot to have around.

"So" know they are "people"!... At least they think they are... gotta love a dog who thinks they are people!

What a cutie!!  Thanks for the smile Lori. She's so cute!!  The second picture actually made me laugh

Sometimes when she sleeps, she looks like a kangaroo.  If I ever get a picture of her, I'll post it.

Danes are notorious for "leaning" on people.  She is already starting that.  She lays right on top of me at night.  She actually lays her head on my neck.  It is funny now, probably not when she is over 100 lbs!

Glad everyone enjoyed the pictures.

Hey, I love your Dolce too! I love dogs! I have a lab mix that actually grins at me. I just say show me your teeth sweetie and she does! I also have a couple others. There love is so unconditional.

Some sayings I like..

Untill one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened. Anotole France

He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion. Unknown

I wondered what kind of dog she was with those PAWS! A Great Dane, you're adventureous. We (I) got a beagle so she couldn't knock over the Christmas tree or the girls when they were little.
DeidreAwww, what a cutie pie!!!!  I have two little dogs and they are the bright spot in everyday for me!!!  I even take them to the office with me!

What a sweetie! I haven't had a dog since my cocker died about 10 yrs ago (is it really that long?). I had her for 12 years and she was really "my dog". She loved everybody, but stayed right at my feet all the time. I miss her.

Your pictures sure made me want another doggie. There is still a little place left in my heart for one.

Thanks for sharing, you made my day.

She's adorable! I'm gonna show her pictures to my hubby...I really want a dog!

I truly believe that animals are good medicine.  i think everyone should have at least one.

Diedre, my dane friends told me when I got her that I couldn't have just one....I'm already thinking of getting another one.  They are addictive.  I'm glad you enjoyed her pictures.

Lori

SHE's SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CUTEJust love your doggie - they are such good company when you have a chronic disease.   My dog is a border terrier
and very energetic - they were bred to run miles & miles but he came to me second hand and I can walk for about 20 minutes - I had no idea about the breed but he knows when I am not well and will lie quietly by my bed for days (that should really read 'on' my bed) but he gets me walking more than I would otherwise, and is very mischievious but my life would be so empty without him.
Will try and post a pix one day although I havent a clue how to do it. I have to restrain myself all the time as I would love another dog but maybe one day. They give so much.
