Oh my God, baths are amazing. I literally fell in this morning where I couldn't lower myself properly because of my swollen hands. After soaking for like 10 minutes my hands felt alot better and I got out no problems. Miracle

I dread the day I can't get in and out of the tub. It's one of my very favorite things!!

Hi Jenna,

Sometimes I get up and take one at 3 or 4 AM so I can get back to

   Sleep.

Mandi

I love baths, but my problem is I love them really really hot, which ends up making my skin itch!!!  So i don't take them too often, but I sure do like them.  did any of you see that new tub they have out?  you open an close it like a door and then fill it with you sitting in it, you can even get it with water jets!!!!  meme

I had an easier time getting in and out of the tub when I was pregnant then I do now. I have always just plopped into the tub or floor; I have never been able to just ease myself into the floor like a normal person does.

I dream of baths.  Unfortunately, I can't get in and out, so the shower must do.  I visited my aunt in NJ and we went to Atlantic City and stayed over there in one of the hotels.  Ah, a beautiful tub, plenty of hot water and a grab bar!  "Perfect," I said to myself, "I do believe I'll enjoy a nice long soak."  And soak I did.  The only thing I forgot that with bent out of shape hands and no strength, grab bars are useless.  I ended up falling back into the tub several times (my backside was beautiful shades of black and blue).  Finally I had to give up and hurl myself over the side of the tub, and slithered out like a snake on my belly.  When I finally righted myself, I needed a shower.

Yes, Meme, I've seen those walk-in tubs -- but whoooeeee!  are they ever expensive!

Give it a couple years, janis, and the price will come down.  Hubby and I were talking that if and when we redo the bathroom we want one of those tubs., maybe by then there will be different kinds and they will be cheaper.  meme

Will insurance cover a hot tub???  I have so much trouble getting in and out of the bathtub..a hot bath helps so much.  If insurance will cover Viagra don't you think it should cover a hot tub for us???  :)

Some might under a doc's orders but if you do have a doc's orders and itemize your income taxes, and qualify for deducting medical expenses (they must total at least 7% of your income) it is tax deductible.  Or was the last I checked.

Just going for one. Ah happy days!!!
