question about swelling in feet | Arthritis Information

My feet are getting worse, it hurts to sit with them on the floor, hurts to stand/walk. Laying down seems to make the swelling worse, but at least the pressure is off lessening the pain. My first rheumy appointment is not until mid-April and the nurse told me it was fine to take pics to share with the doctor at my first appointment (thank you for the advice on the pics btw!). But here is my question, no over the counter meds are reducing the discomfort, do you all have any other suggestions? The swelling is on the pads of my feet at the base of my toes. Dear Jessica, you can't be in that pain that long!! Try to leave messages at your Dr. office, even the GP's can help you until the office opens.  The forum people seem to agree prednisone (If possible) is the quickest and best solution on the short side. until you can get something better. Oh my gosh I feel so bad for all your pain, it is hard to think straight when you have severe pain. Please, get some help. Let the forum know.......
