Ok, you need to have Sazon seasoning or this recipe just does not taste
the same. One recipe is enough for 3 to 4 people but we always double it
for leftovers.

Cook rice, any kind you like. Sticky, sushi or brown, does not matter.

Throw in pan:
2 T olive oil
1/2 c onions (yellow or white, finely chopped)
1/4 c finely chopped green pepper
2 cloves of garlic finely chopped or minced
1 can black beans
3/4 c water
1 packet of sazon seasoning
1 T vinegar (cider is good)

Cook until all ingredients are cooked down. Serve over rice.

Let me know how you like it. Also, some people do not know what sazon
seasoning is. you find it in the mexican food section of the grocery store.

Eeew, it has been a long time since I have fixed that! Sounds good...I love rice!Lorster thanks so much for the recipe - I live in the Southern Hemisphere so have no idea what sazon seasoning is.   There is a shop that specialises in mexican foods in my city so I will look there & I am fairly sure they will know what is in it - if not, could you look at the packet & I could make it up myself. I love mexican food so am sure I will enjoy the recipe, thanks very much.
Now for more good news, just checked on my stevia powder
jar & it says 'no calories' so would imagine the liquid would be the same.   I will check next time I am in a health food shop.   I made some gluten free lemon muffins a while ago using the stevia powder (on one of my good phases) & they were really nice, just tasted
like ordinary muffins. With Easter coming up I just need to ignore all those easter eggs and hopefully before too long there will be easter eggs made with stevia.
Thanks again for the recipe.Well, I tell ya, I thought MSG was out of style. That is the first ingredient.
Also, salt, garlic, cumin, mexican saffron and turmeric. This spice is called
Sazon Goya. It is pretty popular in the grocery stores. I don't even care
about the MSG as this is so good. Hope you can find this. Let me know. That sounds so good. I have got to try it myself. Thanks for posting it.
