Thanks for all the input on cars and mattresses. Having you all to get feedback from has really lifted my spirits this past week. I've been taking the Plaquenil since Tuesday - four days now. Everytime I take it my face gets all flushed and stays that way for quite a while. Also, I'm having nightsweats, but not just at night, although they are more frequent then. I'm through menopause and thought the sweats were history too. How long did they last for you taking the Plaquenil?

Are you sure those are side effects from the Plaquenil? I only experienced nausea for about a week and a half.
I've had no side effects with plaquenil and I have been taking it for 2 weeks. Could the flushing and sweats be related to the RA. I know I get viscious night sweats that I have put down to just the RA as that seems to be the only constant.Dear Mary Rose, Me too. I've been having drenchings at night and I was BLAMING prednisone, MTX! I think pammy may be on to something. This RA is causing our bodies to sweat, the inflamation certainly makes sense, and adding the meds just confuses us. When I was off the RA meds completely, did take oxycoden & ultram, I wish I'd been aware? I just don't remember. Feeling better today. I took plaquenil so many years ago I don't remember that either?, but it worked for me except for headaches (really migrane types!) I went to MTX, and vioxx (ugh),
