Hi there....Does anyone have Seborrhea?  I just found out that I do have it and it's a pain the in butt to say the least.  It does go along with auto immune diseases. Some say that it is an inherited condition that comes and goes with the seasons.  Oh goody!  I have started out with Head & Shoulders Shampoo but I may have to use something stronger if that does not work.

Yes, I have it. Flaky skin everywhere. as we have been told showring/washing our hair dries it out, well I wash anyway. This is just another symptom of what we've go. Hurts, how do you treat yours?  Over the counter or prescriptions?
Thanks....
I didn't know what this was till I googled it. LOL

I use head and shoulders too...........you know what I found though? For some reason, when I'm on pred, I don't get it. At all. I also don't get acne. There's something in the body oils....I just know it......I just don't know what it is, or what it's called...ya know?
My cousin has it SO bad, but Enbrel helped her out (she was diagnosed with Psoritic(sp?) arthritis at 19...poor thing!)

But maybe for her it was different?? I use head & shoulders 1-2 times a week, but my scalp is like SUPER oily (even though my face is dry...go figure), so I keep it in check. It's a PITA though.

Hi , I alternate with my regular shampoo and head n shoulders, HnS makes my head itch so I try to just use as little as I can to cover. I was my hair everyday.

I have PA with the RA and I use Tea Tree Shampoo and it really works for me.  Hugs and good vibes.  Thanks everyone for your replies.
2many, is that an over the counter shampoo?
TEA TREE SHAMPOO!!!!!!!!!! I forgot all about that!! That's what I used to use...thanks for the reminder!!! :) I love the way it tingles.....and it smells SO GOOD.

I buy mine either from the hair salon or a beauty supply place here called "Sally's" which is right by TJ Maxx and so I always end up going there too and then spend wayyyyyyy to much so I usually try to get it at the salon.
