Alright. So my doc appt was SPECTACULAR. She practically threw the referral to a rheumy at me.  Well done! Have a great evening.Hey,
Glad your app't. was successful. Do you mean to tell me that you
haven't had a regular rheumy?? Sorry for being so ignorant, but I am
rather new here.

Good Lord, I can see why the Mobic was so needed!! Your posts
always make me laugh.

Hope you feel better soon!! Yeah, I've been without insurance for erm....2 years? Yeah that's right. And I haven't seen a rheumy for anything major in like......5 years.

Didn't you hope to continune treatment with the GP until you got a firm grip on the new insurance? Did you tell her you weren't able to see a specialist right now? Or do you in fact want to see an RD?

I mean....I know you want to.....but I was thinking you had hopr to continue treatment with the GP until things were more settleed and you knew your insurance would cover it.

I might be confused too.

No, you're right.....but I stopped caring..........I *NEED* to see a rheumy.....I can work out payments. Now that I can flash an insurance card, everyone is nice to me about payments. I am going to call the ins company tomorrow to find out just exactly how much they cover...and I'll do from there. But I HAVE to see someone. It's not worth waiting any longer!!

BTW - my doc office co-pay is only , just like I read it. YAY!
I had to sign a paper at my pharmacy in order to get the non-child resistant tops.  You might ask for them at refill time.

Katie, I am so glad you got a prescription, and especially glad you are going to see a rheumy!! It's been way too long. (Do I sound like a MOM?) I am a Mom.  I've been worried about you.

Keep us posted about what the rheumy says and does. Hope the Mobic works well for you til then.

Gentle "mom" hugs,

Nini

LOL Yes, thanks mom number 8 million...........LOL Katie - I am so glad to hear you went to the doc - you liked the doc - and got some meds -I have mobic and it works for me. (did they tell you that it has to build up in your system so you may not notice much for a couple of days?)  Ask for regular caps next time - if you got it at Walgreens  - once you get it off you can put it on upside down and it isn't child proof anymore.  Hope you get in to see a rheumy quickly.  Fingers crossed for you.  Hugs and good vibes.
